The wine is deep red in color and is full of cherry and spice notes lifted by smokey oak and a hint of dried thyme. The highly structured palate delivers bright cherry flavors framed nicely by bright acidity and ripe tannins.
The wine was allowed to age in new French Oak barrels for 17 months where it gained concentration and picked up hints of vanilla and licorice.
