Vilmart Grande Reserve 37.5cl
Reviews of Vilmart Grande Reserve 37.5cl
Review made on 03/04/07 at 15:00:00 by David CrossleyI love all the Vilmart wines I've tasted. They are not "easy" - the blocked "malo" and elevage in foudres (big oak casks) means they need time and are quite high on the acidity spectrum. With a bit of bottle age they become very complex though, even at this NV level. Toby is right to suggest this is a bargain, far better VFM than Veuve, L-P and the like. Can't recommend it highly enough. Just got to talk Toby into stocking the vintage Coeur de Cuvee! To leave reviews you need to Join the Quaff Community
